Royal Enfield began in 1901, making it the world's oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production. Originating in England and now based solely in India, the company designs bikes for the Indian landscape. The Himalayan is built for its namesake mountains - built, that is, for all roads and no roads. Alongside the Himalayan is the ultra popular line of 650 models - the Interceptors and Continental GTs. Royal Enfield also has tantallizingly secretive plans for a new Classic model to replace the long-standing Classic 500.
